Artist Bio
Ashley lives in Monte Vista, CO with her husband Eric. She began
working with glass in Lawrence, KS while studying Biology at the
University of Kansas.
She set up her first flame-working studio in 2002 in Oakland, CA at the
Fort Creativity Center. In 2004 Ashley and Eric moved to Rochester,NY.
Ashley continued blowing glass while developing skills in ceramics at the
Genesee Center for the Arts in New York.
Inspiration for her art comes from nature, especially botanical. She
enjoys hiking, horses, snowboarding, dogs and cats, backpacking,
camping, cross-country skiing, gardening and of course blowing glass!
